Prayer Ministry

WHY DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST?
The Prayer Ministry exists to advance the Kingdom of God by boldly seeking God's heart through the effective ministry of prayer and intercession, for the church, the community and the nations.

Scripture:  Mark 11:17 "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations"

Ministry Descriptions:
Sunday Prayer Team:  We meet before each worship service to pray for the services. We pray for the pastor(s) or guest speakers as well as the praise and worship team. During each service, intercessors pray for the worship time and the congregation. Intercessors are also available for personal prayer ministry at the altar/invitation time.

Monday Prayer Team:  We meet each Monday to seek the Lord's heart for the church, the community, and the nation. Prayer requests from Sunday and the prayer request line are also brought before the Lord.

Familiy Group Prayer Ministry:  A special time of prayer and ministry is set aside in each home cell (Family) group.

Wednesday Prayer Team: A team to be assembled for intercessory prayer on Wednesday evenings.

Deliverance Ministry: Intercessors pray for each individual completing the deliverance classes.

Special Prayer Events:
As the Lord leads, we will have special times of prayer such as the National Day of Prayer, and special times of prayer and fasting for upcoming events.

Opportunities:  Prayer Warriors are needed for all Worship Services, Family Groups, and in Deliverance Ministry.
